Kim Min-Jae is expected to leave Bayern Munich, the English giant is interested in the South Korean

Bayern Munich are open to parting ways with South Korean defender Kim Min-Jae after just one season, with Manchester United emerging as a leading contender for his signature, according to FCB Inside.

The Bavarians have set a transfer fee of 40 to 50 million euros for the 28-year-old center-back, who is also attracting interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Kim, who joined Bayern from Napoli for €50m in 2023, is said to be considering an early exit.

A potential sale would provide Bayern Munich with funds for a defensive overhaul, with Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah linked as a replacement.

Manchester United, having previously signed Bayern players such as Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt, see Kim as a target, although his struggles in Munich - partly attributable to the lack of a commanding defensive partner - have limited his impact.Telegraph/
