Kim Kardashian sparked controversy after publishing photos from a vacation in a tropical location, where she appeared with precious jewelry placed around her ankle.
Jewelry expert Julia Chafe commented that Kim's accessory, which included pink sapphires and diamonds, "costs more than a house."
Chafe stressed that Kim's courage to wear such expensive jewelry on the beach makes her "extraordinary," while praising her switch from diamonds to sapphires, writes Dailymail.
However, many followers criticized Kim for the display of wealth, recalling her promise after the Paris robbery not to display jewelry online.
In addition to expensive accessories, Kim shared vacation photos with her children and sister Khloe Kardashian, enjoying activities like fishing and playing on the beach.
Meanwhile, Kim prepares to testify in the 2016 robbery trial where $9 million worth of jewelry was stolen.
