The Director of Culture, Youth and Sports in Fushë Kosovë, Ylber Kelmendi, has reacted to the deteriorating condition of the House of Culture in this municipality, emphasizing that the facility has been neglected and without maintenance for years.
In a Facebook post, Kelmendi announced that the last performance at this facility was held about 20 years ago and that since then culture in Fushë Kosovë has not received the attention it deserves.
According to him, the building, which once had a cultural life, is today in a deplorable condition, with a complete lack of maintenance.
He announced that the Directorate of Culture, Youth and Sports has taken the first concrete step, starting with the internal cleaning of the facility, a process that, according to him, has not happened for decades. "This is just the beginning," Kelmendi emphasized.
The Director announced that the House of Culture will undergo a complete reconstruction and that the goal is to return it to the citizens as a functional space for art and culture. Finally, he underlined that Fushë Kosova deserves more and that culture should be treated with dignity. /Telegrafi/
