A short-term favorite treat with just three ingredients

Muffins can be made in many ways and usually the best ones are the ones where you add yeast and wait for the dough to rise, but that's not the case with this recipe.

This pastry will be very soft and delicious thanks to the margarine and cream and all you need is three ingredients and a little time and to follow the instructions carefully.

The muffins can be filled as desired, with sweet or savory fillings, and they taste wonderful. If you want, you can, but it is not necessary, brush them with beaten egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds, but the muffin will be irresistible even without it, reports the Telegraph.

Ingredients:

▪ 400 grams of sifted flour,
▪ 250 grams of margarine (softened, at room temperature),
▪ 200 grams of sour cream (a little more than a cup).

Preparation:

Mix the margarine and sour cream, then add the flour and mix everything until you get a soft dough.

Form into a ball and let it rest covered with plastic wrap in the refrigerator for at least an hour, ideally two hours. Then transfer it to a floured surface, divide the dough ball in half, and roll out one half into a circle with a rolling pin.

After that, cut it into triangles with a knife, add filling as desired, then shape into a muffin.

These muffins are soft, airy and very tasty and go great with sweet fillings like chocolate cream or jam and savory fillings like spinach, cheese... /telegraph/
