After months of speculation about their relationship, Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau made their first public appearance together.

The couple attended a cabaret show at the 'Crazy Horse' in Paris to celebrate the singer's 41st birthday.

In the published photos, Perry wore a seductive red dress, while Trudeau was dressed in a black suit.

Speculation about their romance began this summer, when Perry and Trudeau were spotted together in Montreal, Canada.

At the time, Perry had ended her engagement to Orlando Bloom, while Trudeau had divorced his wife, Sophie Gregoire, after 18 years of marriage.

After months of not making any public appearances, the pair were spotted hugging and kissing on a yacht near Santa Barbara in September.

Sources close to the couple said Trudeau has shown active interest in Perry since their first meeting in Montreal.

According to reports, Trudeau even traveled to California to visit her during a break in her tour.

Perry is currently on the "Lifetimes Tour" world tour in promotion of her latest album "14."

The tour began in April in Mexico City and since then the singer has visited cities in the US, Canada and Australia. /Telegraph/
