Kate Winslet shone with an elegant appearance at the world premiere of her new film "Goodbye June," held in London on Wednesday.

The actress, 50, has stepped behind the camera for the first time to make her directorial debut in this family drama, with her 21-year-old son, Joe, who wrote the script.

Walking the red carpet at The Curzon Mayfair, Kate — who also stars in the film — looked stunning in a sleek, plunging black gown.

Joe had chosen a classic black tuxedo, combined with a white shirt, matching pants, and elegant shoes.

Kate is Joe's mother from her marriage to her ex-husband, Bond director Sam Mendes, from whom she separated in 2010 after seven years of marriage.

The star-studded cast includes Andrea Riseborough, Toni Collette and Timothy Spall, who also walked the red carpet.
