Harry Kane is aiming to equal Alan Shearer's record after scoring twice in a 3-0 win against Bournemouth at the weekend.
The representative of England sent the number of goals scored this season in the Premier League to 21 and 24 in all competitions, reports Koha.net.
Shearer has scored 260 goals in his Premier League career, and Kane is aiming to break that record, reports Goal.
"I still need a lot of goals but I'm still young and watching Shearer, who was an idol of mine growing up, to see his goals was great. I hope to continue working hard and score as much as possible", said Kane.
