The Regional Water Company "Bifurkacioni" has announced that the action to verify and disconnect individual and commercial consumers who have debts to the water company is continuing.

According to the announcement, during January alone, meetings were held with around 300 consumers, who were verified regarding their financial obligations, while some of them were disconnected from the network due to non-payment of debts.

KRU "Bifurkacioni" warns that all consumers in the service areas in the municipalities of Ferizaj, Kaçanik and Hani i Elezit will face disconnection from the water supply and sewage network if they do not settle their debt situation.

The company has appealed to customers in debt not to illegally reconnect to the network, but to make payments to ensure regular water supply and avoid enforcement proceedings.

"Bifurkacioni" has also announced that it offers cooperation opportunities for the repayment of obligations through debt rescheduling. For households, an initial payment of 10 percent of the total debt is foreseen, while the rest can be paid in 12 to 36 installments. While for businesses, the initial payment is 20 percent of the total debt, with the possibility of rescheduling in 12 to 36 installments for the remaining part.

The company has emphasized that the action will continue on the ground and that the measures will be implemented in accordance with the regulations and procedures in force. /Telegrafi/
