The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPK), under the leadership of Chairman Ardian Hajdaraj, held its 280th meeting, where several important agenda items were reviewed and important decisions were made for the prosecutorial system.

At this meeting, the KPC decided that:


1. To authorize the Chairman Ardian Hajdaraj to sign on behalf of the institution the Cooperation Agreement with the High Prosecutorial Council of Albania, a step aimed at strengthening institutional coordination and professional exchange between the two prosecutorial systems.

2. To submit to the President of Kosovo the request for the dismissal of prosecutor Slobodan Bakić from the Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica, upon reaching retirement age, in accordance with legal provisions.

3. To refer disciplinary complaint AD.nr.10/2025 to the Commission for the Evaluation of the Performance of Prosecutors, for further review according to disciplinary procedures and professional evaluation standards.

4. To cancel the recruitment process of prosecutors, a decision that is expected to have a direct impact on the dynamics of filling positions in the prosecutorial system.

The KPK emphasized the importance of these decisions for the efficient and responsible functioning of the prosecutorial system in the country. /Telegrafi/
