KFOR soldiers are trained in the use of helicopters in counter-riot activities

Italian, Bulgarian and North Macedonian KFOR soldiers have conducted a training on the use of helicopters in counter-riot activities.

KFOR's Facebook post states that the training aimed to improve helicopter takeoff and landing procedures.

“KFOR continues to implement its mandate – based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 – to contribute to a secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and in an impartial manner.

"KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders," the announcement says. /Telegrafi/
