KFF Dukagjini wins the Kosovo Cup, defeating KFF Mitrovica in the final

In the final of the Kosovo Women's Cup, Dukagjini's team from Klina emerged victorious after a dramatic penalty shootout, defeating Mitrovica with a score of 6-5.

The match took place on Monday at the “Fadil Vokrri” stadium in Pristina. After 90 minutes of play and two overtime periods of 15 minutes each, the score was tied 1-1.

In the decisive moments, during the penalty shootout, Dukagjini's players showed greater calm and precision, managing to triumph.


Mitrovica took the lead first with a goal scored by Marigona Tahiri in the 29th minute, while the equalizer was achieved in the 62nd minute by Gjenifer Pjetri.

During the game, Mitrovica was left with one player less after one of the players was sent off.

Although Mitrovica was the champion of the season, winning the championship title after a 1-0 victory over Dukagjini in the decisive match, in this Cup final, Dukagjini got its deserved revenge by winning the trophy. /Telegraph/
