CEC recounts 34% of polling stations – some candidates lose thousands of votes, others gain

At the Counting and Results Center (CRC), 309 out of a total of 914 polling stations included in the recount process were recounted, which constitutes about 34 percent of the total.
According to the announcement of the Central Election Commission (CEC), the process of verification and recount of votes has been completed in 20 municipalities, while the other municipalities will be included in this process according to the determined order.
The verification of votes has revealed significant changes, with some candidates having hundreds of votes removed, while others have had tens and hundreds of votes added.
