CEC publishes party expenses – LDK spent over 203 thousand euros, income only 23 thousand euros

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has published the financial reports of political parties regarding campaign expenses for the local elections held in October 2025.
According to the published report, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has declared total expenses of 203 thousand euros for the election campaign, while the revenues reported by this party amount to only 23 thousand 540 euros.
The majority of LDK's expenses are directed towards advertising and organizing conferences, constituting the main item of campaign costs.

Regarding revenues, LDK has reported around 16 thousand euros in donations in the form of goods and services.
A significant portion of these donations came from LDK officials themselves or candidates for MPs.

The party has also received cash donations worth around 8 thousand euros from a total of six donors.

The CEC has announced that the financial reports of political parties have been published in the framework of transparency and oversight of election campaign financing, while they will be subject to regular verification and audit procedures.
