The Central Election Commission (CEC) certified today, at its next meeting, the candidates for deputies of political entities for the December 28 elections, but not of the Serbian List.
Sami Kurteshi and Alban Krasniqi from the Vetëvendosje Movement were against the certification of the Serbian List candidates.
CEC member from VV, Sami Kurteshi, said that they are against the certification of candidates from the Serbian party, supported by official Belgrade.
"I, and I believe my colleague, are also against the certification of the Serbian List along with their candidates," said LVV member Sami Kurteshi.
With six abstentions, two votes against, and three votes in favor, the certification of the Serbian List candidate list was rejected.
"Who is for, three, who is against, two, abstentions, six abstentions. Then the certification of the list of candidates of the Serbian List is refused," said the chairman of the Central Election Commission.
The Serbian List has 33 candidates for the early parliamentary elections to be held on December 28.
