Juventus reach agreement in principle with Premier League super striker

Juventus have reportedly agreed personal terms with Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta on a four-year contract ahead of a potential January move.
The French striker wants to leave Selhurst Park for a new challenge and is open to playing for the Bianconeri, who would offer him a place in the Champions League.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, the Old Lady's management have already reached personal agreements with Mateta for a four-year contract.

The Italian giants will now continue their talks with the Premier League club to secure a full deal. They are proposing a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
The Old Lady are keen to bring in a new number 9 to bolster their attack, with Jonathan David, Lois Openda and Dusan Vlahovic very inconsistent this season.
Otherwise, Mateta has scored eight goals in 21 matches played so far with Crystal Palace in the Premier League. /Telegraph/
