Juventus extends contract of player who hasn't played in over 10 months

Juventus have officially announced that they have extended the contract of 31-year-old Polish footballer Arkadiusz Milik until June 2027.

Milik joined Juventus in 2022, initially on loan from Marseille, while the Polish striker officially became a Juventus player a year later.   In total, he made 59 league appearances for the Turin club and scored 11 goals.

He left a deeper mark on Serie A early in his career while wearing the Napoli jersey, where he played a total of 93 Serie A matches and scored 38 times.

In addition to these two Italian clubs and Marseille, he also played for Bayer Leverkusen, Augsburg and Ajax.

Milik has had numerous injury problems recently and last played for Juventus at the end of May last year.

Despite this and his recent serious knee injury, Juventus decided to extend his contract.

But his salary, which was 3.5 million euros per year, will be divided into two parts, where he will earn 1.75 million euros each for two years. /Telegraph/
