Juventus and Inter compete to secure the signature of the Barcelona star

Over the past few weeks, there have been many rumors regarding the future of defender Andreas Christensen.

The 28-year-old has been sidelined for four months due to an Achilles tendon problem and during this period, he has lost the importance he previously had in the Barcelona team.

It has been reported that the Blaugrana will aim to sell the Danish international next summer rather than renew his current contract which expires in 2026.

This is also because the club leaders are considering the possibility of transferring a new defender to offer competition to names like Ronald Araujo, Pau Cubarsi, Inigo Martinez and Eric Garcia.

In addition, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Juventus and Inter have both expressed interest in the transfer of Christensen.

Barcelona are unlikely to let him go for a low price, though they may be forced to do so if they don't offer him new terms.
