Juventus aims to gain another 20 million euros from the two forgotten Brazilians

The January transfer window has entered its most intense phase and reports from Italy indicate that Juventus hopes to raise around 20 million euros through the sale of two Brazilians who have long been out of the club's main plans.
One of them is Arthur Melo, who remains under contract with Juventus, despite having spent most of the last three and a half years away from Turin, on loan to Liverpool, Fiorentina, Girona and most recently to Gremio in Brazil.
The 29-year-old joined Juventus in a swap deal with Miralem Pjanic, a transfer that at the time was reported to be worth €72 million, plus up to €10 million in bonuses and add-ons.
With a contract valid until 2027, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Arthur is still valued at around 10 million euros on Juventus' financial balance sheet, a figure that is expected to drop to around 6.5 million euros in the summer.
According to the same newspaper, Arthur has already held talks with Gremio's management about a permanent transfer, after a positive period during 2025.

In addition to Arthur, Juventus could soon benefit from the activation of a percentage clause from the sale of Kaio Jorge.
The 23-year-old forward joined Juventus from Santos in 2021, with his Serie A experience split between the first team, the U23s and a loan spell at Frosinone in the 2023/24 season. In the summer of 2024, he was allowed to leave Juventus, joining Cruzeiro for a reported fee of €7.2 million.
Kaio Jorge finished the 2025 Brazilian championship season (which runs from March to December) as the league's top scorer, with 21 goals in 33 appearances. He also registered eight assists in the championship, as well as five goals and one assist in eight matches in the Brazilian Cup.
His excellent performances have attracted the attention of some of the biggest clubs in Brazil, including Flamengo, who have reportedly submitted a €32 million bid to sign the striker from Cruzeiro.
In response to the interest, Cruzeiro has renewed Kaio Jorge's contract until 2030, which means that a possible departure in the near future would occur for an even higher amount than Flamengo's current offer.
This situation is in Juventus' favor, as the Bianconeri are reportedly entitled to 30 percent of the amount that will be gained from the upcoming transfer of Kaio Jorge, making this operation an important source of income for the Italian club.Telegrafi
