Jose Mourinho has revealed his dream job which he aims to achieve before retirement

Jose Mourinho's comment about his dream job has resurfaced again and his selection would undoubtedly end a legendary career before he retires.

Mourinho was appointed coach of Turkish team Fenerbahce in June this year, but despite the fact that he enjoyed a lot of support, this team can be considered something of a 'step back' for the Portuguese considering the teams he has coached in Europe.

He first made a name for himself at Porto where he secured the Champions League in 2004, before joining Inter in 2008.

The 61-year-old won back-to-back Serie A titles and then guided the Black and Whites to a historic treble in 2010, securing a second Champions League trophy in the process.

Since then, he has managed perhaps two of the most successful teams in world football, Real Madrid and Manchester United, with a return to Chelsea sandwiched between spells at Tottenham and Roma.

But there is one role that the 61-year-old has not yet taken but dreams of doing before retirement.

Former Chelsea player, Frank Lebouef, has said that Mourinho has set his sights on the post of Portugal coach.

"I remember when I interviewed Mourinho when he was at Real Madrid or Chelsea and when he came to Los Angeles. He admitted that the last thing he would like to do in his career as a coach is to take charge of the Portuguese national team, I think that will be his goal," said Lebouef.

Mourinho himself had accepted this, even saying that he had had this opportunity twice, but had refused.

"It's normal, Portugal. I had the chance to go twice, but they didn't come at the right time for me. I was emotional when I rejected the last offer, because I decided to stay at Roma and I think I made a mistake," Mourinho said./Telegraph/
