The former mayor of Skenderaj, Bekim Jashari, has harshly criticized those who opposed the Kosovo Police's action to close down parallel Serbian institutions in the north of the country.

In a post on his official Facebook account, Jashari commended the Police's action, describing it as right and necessary to combat Serbian influence in Kosovo.

He quoted Gjergj Fishta to illustrate the current situation, saying:

"It's easier to fill a bag with fleas than to put two Albanians together."

Jashari expressed his disappointment at the opposing reactions to the action, emphasizing that after 25 years since liberation and 17 years as a state, there are still voices that call this action "violence, pressure or fascism."

In his post, Jashari raised the question:

"Until when? Who are we and who have we been, Albanians?"

He expressed respect and gratitude for the Kosovo Police and honored the martyrs of the KLA, ending with a clear message of support for state institutions.

"Respect and gratitude to the Kosovo Police! Glory to the martyrs of the KLA!" – his post ends./Telegraph/
