United to bring the processes forward, is the call made by the representative of the Jashari family, Bekimi. On the 13th anniversary of the Independence of Kosovo, he, together with the chairman of Drenas, Ramiz Lladrovcin, paid tribute at the "Adem Jashari" complex in Prekaz.
The mayor of the municipality of Skenderaj, Bekim Jashari, said that it took a lot of effort and sacrifice to reach this day.
Among other things, he emphasized that everyone should be united to bring the processes forward.
"Otherwise we continued to be divided, it could take us even longer the processes that this country needs to complete. And especially to give economic development to this country. Only then can we say that we are fulfilling the legacy of the martyrs", he said.
Meanwhile, the mayor of the municipality of Drenas, Ramiz Lladrovci, has summoned the former leaders and all those who are being held in The Hague.
"Today we are celebrating this independence day without the leaders and founders of our state. Without Hashim, Kadri, Jakupi, Rexha and their comrades-in-arms. But on this day, we also remember the legendary commander and the Jashari family, as well as all the sons and daughters of our nation who gave their lives for freedom", he emphasized.
In the Jashari family on March 5, 6 and 7, 1998, 59 family members had fallen heroically, including the legendary KLA commander, Adem Jashari./kp/
