Jashari: We dare not lose the war we won with blood today at the table

The defense of the just war of the Kosovo Liberation Army and our state is the obligation of every citizen and this requires the unification of the entire political spectrum and every citizen because only united can we win this battle.

This was the message of the Jashari family at the memorial academy organized in honor of the Epic of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

On behalf of the Jashari family, the audience addressed Bekim Jashari, who said that the KLA Epic reminds us of the glorious history of our people, the struggle of many generations who spared nothing for the freedom and independence of our country.

"The state we created forgives those who didn't even spare their lives, now we are entrusted to love and develop it so that our young people and the generations to come can find their perspective and future in Kosovo. The flight of our young people from Kosovo has been a concern since the end of the war. It is a battle that we dare not lose, it is a bequest from our ancestors that this land filled with blood breathe Albanian, that our young people grow up and be educated in the country of their fathers, that despite the persecutions they had from the savage power of former Yugoslavia never abandons the land of their forefathers", he said.

Jashari added that our institutions, with the support of each one of us, stop the flight of young people through employment.

"We don't dare to lose the war that we won with blood today at the table, therefore the defense of the just war of the Kosovo Liberation Army and our citizenship is the obligation of each of us. This requires the unification of the entire political spectrum and each of us, because only united can we win this battle, as we won it yesterday," he said.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that when this year's "KLA Epic" demonstrations started, in the "Adem Jashari" barracks, the KSF soldiers fired 24 bullets into the air, three of them in honor of the commander Adem Jashari and from three of the seven rifles for the seven Operational Areas of the KLA.

He said that the shots of the rifles of the Jashars of Prekazi were multiplied by the number of KLA soldiers, multiplying and resulting in even greater shots of the weapons of our allies who have joined the war for the liberation of Kosovo through the intervention of NATO.

The Prime Minister, at the commemorative academy on the 25th anniversary of the KLA Epic, said that the resistance of the Jashari family on March 5,6, 7 and 1998, XNUMX was the culminating act in the multi-act drama of the Albanian people's efforts to liberate Kosovo from Serbia.

"On the stage of the modern history of Kosovo, commander Adem Jashari not only had a key role, but he was also the author and actor of that glorious war show that brought freedom to Kosovo. Until the Epic of March 5,6, 7 and 1998, XNUMX, Adem Jashari came after he had prepared and trained all his life, writing and playing his own historical role. When he was armed, trained and started the war, he did not wait for anyone to give him a role in the history of the Albanians, because he created and lived his own role as the Commander-in-Chief of all the liberators of Kosovo and of every effort for freedom...But this was not the case with Adem Jashari. With his deep consciousness of the need to fight for the freedom of Kosovo, he gave us the noblest example as an individual and as a spirit for the KLA fighters, for the high levels that a people's consciousness for freedom can reach Kurti said.

He underlined that Adem Jashari is alive in the lives of each of those who decide to follow the path of the same ideals as him.

"Adem Jashari's vow for freedom, that there is only one more death in this life, brought him the most noble death, as a martyr for freedom, and that gave Adem Jashari an immortal spirit among the living, because " He is alive" even today. Adem Jashari is alive in the memories of those who were lucky enough to have him in the family, in the experiences of those who accompanied him as he fought in battles, in the lessons of those who study him from history and in the lives of each of those who decide to follow the path of the same ideals as him," said Prime Minister Kurti.

Meanwhile, the representative of the organizations that came out of the KLA war, Xhavit Jashari, said that the epic war of the Kosovo Liberation Army is part of the centuries-old national history.

"Prekazi from that day on has become part of our historical memory not only for...but also in the first place because the ideal of Albanian freedom had called them, Jsharaj and others to the stage of history. Even today, after 25 years of the epic war of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Prekazi is visited by millions of Albanians, regardless of whether they were with the liberation war of the KLA or against it," he said.

Meanwhile, the historian Durim Avdullahu said that it has been said many times that the story of the Jashari family is unique in all of history and this is true.

"With the resistance of March 5,6,7, 7, 1998 and XNUMX, XNUMX and with all the activity done for freedom, Adem Jashari, Hamza and the entire family of Shaban Jashari, has given history an unequivocal example of how far the human being can be taken authentic for freedom", he said.
