The Regional Water Supply Company "Prishtina" has announced that due to turbulence in the Ibër-Lepenc canal and the works being carried out on the canal, the Shkabaj Water Treatment Plant (ITU Shkabaj) is out of operation.
As a result, reductions in water supply are expected during the day in several areas, including Fushë Kosovë/Kosovo Polje, Obiliq/Obilić and part of the Kalabria neighborhood in Pristina.
Impacts on supply are also expected in other areas of the capital.
According to the company, teams are on the ground and are constantly monitoring the situation, while the supply will be restored as soon as water parameters stabilize.
