Italian Ambassador to NATO: Committed to maintaining peace and security in Kosovo

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo for Relations with NATO, Astrit Zemaj, met with Ambassador Marco Peronaci at the Permanent Mission of Italy to NATO.

The Italian diplomat wrote on the 'X' platform that he discussed the situation in Kosovo and the Western Balkans with Ambassador Zemaj.

"The European integration of the region is a priority for Italy and NATO, we are committed to maintaining peace and security in Kosovo, fully supporting KFOR," he said.


Zemaj also expressed his honor on Facebook with the reception and fruitful meeting with Ambassador Marco Peronaci at the Permanent Mission of Italy to NATO, where he discussed our cooperation and continued support for the Republic of Kosovo, the advancement of integration processes, security and challenges in the region, as well as the strong commitment to deepening cooperation and partnership, including within the framework of our work in NATO.

"I expressed my deep gratitude for the unwavering support that Italy has provided to Kosovo throughout all processes, as well as for the extraordinary contribution of Italian forces, for about three decades, within the framework of the NATO-led KFOR Mission in our country," he said. /Telegraph/
