Juventus are seriously considering a move for Fenerbahçe striker Youssef En-Nesyri after negotiations with Crystal Palace for Jean-Philippe Mateta have stalled.

The "Old Lady" is looking for a new striker during the January transfer window and En-Nesyri is one of the names on the list of black and white leaders.

Juventus have already submitted two offers for Mateta, but the parties are far from an agreement, both on the value of the card and the transfer formula, forcing the Italian club to explore other alternatives.

According to Matteo Moretto, En-Nesyri has returned to Fenerbahçe after the African Cup of Nations and has learned that the Turkish club are open to putting him on the market, mainly for financial reasons. Earlier reports had indicated that Fenerbahçe would also accept a loan for the 28-year-old striker.

In addition to Juventus, Napoli have also shown interest in the Moroccan international. However, En-Nesyri's initial desire is to finish the season in Turkey, although Fenerbahçe has begun offering him to several European clubs.

En-Nesyri has a long-term contract with Fenerbahçe and earns around 8 million euros per season. According to Moretto, the striker will consider all offers, including that of Juventus, taking into account the sporting project, but also the financial aspect, which will have weight in the final decision. /Telegraph/
