It took only four weeks to train it, Foxconn introduces its first artificial intelligence model

Foxconn introduced its first artificial intelligence model called FoxBrain.

Foxconn stressed that it took only four weeks to train FoxBrain, and it was trained with the help of 120 Nvidia H100 graphics processors, reports Telegraph.

The new AI model uses a cheaper and more efficient training method, is optimized for the traditional Chinese language used in Taiwan, and excels at mathematical calculations and logical reasoning.

"Our FoxBrain model adopted a highly efficient training strategy, focusing on optimizing the training process instead of blindly accumulating computing power," said Lee Jung-Hui - director of the Artificial Intelligence Research Center at Hon Hai Research Institute.

The new AI model is based on the Meta Llama 3.1 architecture, with 70 billion parameters.

FoxBrain offers data analysis, mathematical calculations, logical reasoning, document work, and program code generation capabilities.

Foxconn plans to use a new AI model to improve production and supply chain management. /Telegraph/
