13 people sought help after a fire broke out in a building in the "Emshir" neighborhood in Pristina. The fire was caused after two cars burned in the garage of this building, and the television station learned that one of them was deliberately set on fire.

So much smoke was coming out of the garage that it was impossible for residents to get out of this building in the Emshir neighborhood of Pristina, after two cars caught fire.

To avoid asphyxiation, water was constantly poured on them from the ground.

At the same time, windows were broken so that the smoke would not go completely up.

Kosovo police and firefighters did their best to get the trapped residents out, and those on the lower floors were pulled out in this manner.

Those who were higher up with the ladders of their machines.

And those on the upper floors were waiting for help from firefighters who, despite the smoke, were using the apartment's stairs.

After about 3 hours, the situation calmed down, and the mayor of the capital, Perparim Rama, also arrived at the scene, where, together with the police and firefighters, they said that no one was seriously injured, while 13 received medical assistance.

This was also confirmed by UCCK this Friday, who said that all of them have been released after experiencing mild breathing problems.

The burned cars were located by the police a day later while the residents tried to clean their building, at the same time telling the horror they experienced.

"Among them is my 4-month-old nephew. Thanks to the intervention of the police and the Fire Department, they managed to get him out through the balcony," said Hysen Cakaj, a resident.

Kosovo Police said they are still investigating the causes of the fire, and cannot provide more information at this stage.

However, the television station learns that it is suspected that the fire in the Golf car was intentional, which brought it to this state.

This is after the owner of the car was set on fire by a man who lives outside of Kosovo after several disputes.
