Daka: It has never happened that there was a 6 vote difference for a candidate

Valdete Valdete Daka, former chairwoman of the Central Election Commission, said that never before has there been a difference of 6 votes for a candidate.
She emphasized that there have been vote recounts in the past as well.
"Yes, there have been recounts very often, almost in every election there have been recounts. There have also been re-votes, both in cities and in polling centers, very often. That is, there have been no elections when there has been no recount, but there have not been such large differences as this time; there have not been differences of 5 thousand, 6 thousand, 2 thousand, like those mentioned today," Daka said on Dukagjini TV.
She further added that the reasons why this phenomenon occurred now need to be further elaborated, in order to find the causes.
"A deeper examination, especially of the legal changes that occurred in 2023, as far as I remember. Justice must be done with this issue, as it was done in 2010," Daka declared.
According to her, in 2010, after what she describes as "industrial theft", in addition to re-voting in several cities, the CEC had sent around 2 criminal reports.
