VALEN: After 22 years of fraud, VALEN brings sewerage to Zajaz

The WLEN coalition, in a press release, says that the major project for the construction of a collector system and a modern wastewater treatment plant in Kicevo, worth over 1 billion denars from the state budget, has already begun to be implemented.

VELEN says that this project represents a major step forward in improving the quality of life of the citizens of Kicevo, while protecting public health and the environment.

"But not only that, after 22 years of promises and political manipulation by the DUI, finally Ali Ahmeti's Zajazi is being drained. Unbelievable, but true: VLEN had to come to government, to solve a basic problem in the birthplace of the one who ruled for two decades without solving the problems of his own country. This project was on the verge of failure when VLEN took over the government: only 17% implementation in 21 months, lost IPA funds, a dysfunctional contractor and a total lack of institutional response from the previous government - another reflection of the incompetence and systematic failure that has been served to citizens for years."

"Thanks to the direct intervention of the First Deputy Prime Minister, Izet Mexhiti, as well as the tireless work of colleagues at the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, the project was saved from complete failure. The previous contract was terminated, compensation was requested and through a new, transparent and long-term procurement, full financing from the state budget was secured for the realization of this strategic investment," say VLEN. /Telegrafi/
