Rashit Qalaj, former director of the Kosovo Police, among other things, has said that it is shameful that the gun of a policeman in Skenderaj was sent to the former mayor of this municipality, Bekim Jashari.
"It is disgusting information how a person who had a public function and a respected person even during the war, would do such an act and why that weapon was taken from that citizen and then not sent to the police station, but a mediator, in this case Mr. Bekim Jashari. I think we should condemn it all. Whenever it happened, from whoever it happened, I condemn all of it and no person in Kosovo has the right to attack the Kosovo police", said Qalaj in Klan Kosova.
He also spoke about the new generation of police officers, whom he praised for the work they do.
"The new generations of police officers are doing an excellent job, it is true that their attitude is stricter, more serious, because they are new generations, with a different point of view. The new generations have been freed from the pressure of public names, of unnecessary respect given to people", he added.
