Israeli actress Gal Gadot said she was surprised by the public's reactions after supporting her country's policies.

"I was shocked by so much hate and how much people think they know when they really don't and how often the media is unfair, so I had to speak out," she told the magazine. Variety.

On October 7, 2023, she announced on social media that she supports Israel and that others should do the same.

"The world cannot stand by and watch these horrific acts of terror happen," she added. Now she has declared that she is an artist and wants to entertain people.

"However, on October 7, when people were snatched from their homes and beds – men, women, children, the elderly, Holocaust survivors, they were going through horror and I could not remain silent," she said.
