The candidate for mayor of Pristina, Uran Ismaili, tonight addressed hundreds of citizens gathered in the Dardania neighborhood, one of the largest, most modern and at the same time neglected neighborhoods by recent governments.

He promised that this area will finally receive the investment and care it deserves, after years of neglect and broken promises.

"Dardania is a symbol of an iconic Pristina, but for 20 years it has been left in the shadows. It is only visited during campaigns, but is forgotten as soon as the ballot boxes close. This will change on October 12. From day one we will start working to bring concrete and tangible changes to this neighborhood," said Ismaili.

He harshly criticized past and current governments for empty promises and projects that have not brought solutions to the daily problems of citizens.

"Dardania faces problems every day that have not been resolved - damaged roads and sidewalks, lack of maintenance of public spaces, insufficient lighting, heavy traffic, lack of maintenance of buildings and lack of investment in modern infrastructure for its residents."

Ismaili presented his commitment to immediate and concrete work as soon as he takes office.

"I will return regularly to Dardania to see our commitments fulfilled. The work will start immediately, with visible and measurable results - not distant projects that never come to fruition," he stressed.

In the end, Ismail made a clear and bold commitment to the citizens of Dardania.

“If I do not fulfill at least 90% of my commitments, I will no longer ask for your vote. Dardania will no longer be just an electoral promise. On October 12, a new era of change begins - for this neighborhood and for all of Pristina.”
