Ismail Qemali was killed, did he not die a natural death?

"If you want Albania to fall into peace, three people must be killed: Ismail Qemal Vlora, Esad Pashë Toptani and me."

On an April day in 1914, Preng Bibë Doda addressed Prince Wied with these words while they were talking in Durrës about how the Albanian state should be built.

On January 24, 1919, Ismail Qemali was killed in Perugia, Italy.

On March 22, 1919, Preng Bibë Doda himself was killed while writing in Lezhë.

On June 13, 1920, Esad Pasha was killed in Paris.

Was it a prophecy or did Deputy Prime Minister Doda know a lot about the traps, the intrigues, the oriental style of the Albanian functionaries, I can't say.

But the truth is that what he said to the German prince turned out to be true. Very little, to say the least, has been talked about the death of the man who founded the Albanian state. It is officially written that he died of cerebral hemorrhage. But, from the investigation that I have been doing for many years, it turns out that he was killed.

More precisely, it is still poisoned. In my book "The 100 most sensational murders in the history of the Albanian state", I described the death of Ismail Qemali as pure murder. There I have published all the facts, authentic documents and testimonies that fully prove this. The most stubborn documents are those secured in the Peruggia hospital archive. I have no respect for those mediocre researchers who call this a closed issue. I have no doubts, but I am convinced that Ismail Qemali was killed.

But this kind of debate deserves only a little time. What I personally think is that the Albanian state should take an initiative to investigate one of the most mysterious murders.

Today's technology makes it possible to find the cause of death if Ismail Bey died naturally or was poisoned.

It is enough to exhume the bones and carry out analyses. It would be in the honor of this country to exhume after nearly a century a truth about the man who founded this country.
