Islam: Petkovic failed to abuse high school graduates in the north

Security expert Avni Islami described it as a failed attempt by the director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, Petar Petkovic, to misuse Serbian high school graduates in north Mitrovica.

In "Car Lazar" Square in north Mitrovica, some Serbian high school graduates celebrated their graduation today by parading with flags and singing.

During the celebrations, several provocations were noted, but the Kosovo Police reacted immediately to prevent the situation from escalating.

Islami said that "Petar Petkovic's attempts to abuse high school graduates in the north of the country failed today!"

He quoted the deputy director of the Kosovo Police for the north, Veton Elshani, who said that "what happened in North Mitrovica was a MINOR INCIDENT, a situation that does not deserve the big fuss that is being made about it."
