Iranians chant "Death to the dictator" from their homes, footage released

A video shared on social media shows residents of Isfahan chanting from their homes "Death to the dictator," a slogan increasingly heard among Iranian protesters who oppose the country's government and leadership.
That expression has been widely used in protests in several cities in the country and expresses anger at the supreme leader and the current political system in Iran.

Protests spread across Iran in reaction to the collapse of the national currency, high inflation, and very difficult economic conditions.
It is one of the largest waves of anti-government protests.
They have taken a broad tone against the system and its leaders, with thousands of people in the streets chanting "Death to the dictator" or "Death to Khamenei" — a direct reference to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has been the regime's central figure for decades.
The government has responded with harsh measures, including internet blockades and service disruptions, in an attempt to limit the distribution of information.
Authorities have used tear gas, live ammunition and serious violence has been reported in several cities. /Telegraph/
