A road collapse has occurred in Kragujevac, Serbia.
The demolition of the retaining walls and part of the access road near the Center of Excellence complex began this morning.
According to the report by "Glas Shumadije", the collapse is becoming increasingly frequent and the stability of the terrain remains at risk, which is causing dissatisfaction and concern among citizens.
The Center of Excellence in Kragujevac is a scientific complex of the University of Kragujevac, the construction of which began in 2015.
According to the plan, the works were supposed to be completed by the end of 2017, but the implementing company has gone bankrupt.
As it became known in 2023, Serbia had invested 14 million euros by then, while the Center was in the final phase and was expected to open in the summer. /Telegraph/
