The Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren, Petrit Kryeziu, hosted a meeting with the National Coordinator for Elections, Laura Pula, and the Manager of the strategic project "Protection of the Vote", Besim Kusari.

The press release states that the meeting took place at the premises of the Prizren Prosecutor's Office and the topic of discussion at this meeting was the development of preliminary investigations regarding the discrepancy in votes during the counting within political entities for deputies of the Republic of Kosovo in the region of the Prizren municipality.


The Chief Prosecutor of Prizren informed that after identifying discrepancies in votes during the counting within political entities for MPs, in the region of the Prizren municipality, where the vote recount process has been completed, the collection of necessary information and the provision of relevant evidence have begun, in order to prove the commission of any criminal offense related to the electoral process.

During this meeting, the State Prosecutor's engagement regarding the protection of the free vote of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo was discussed, as well as the continuation of the investigation process in terms of collecting evidence and securing the necessary testimony. /Telegrafi/
