The Basic Prosecution Office in Peja has authorized the Kosovo Police Regional Investigations in Peja to undertake investigative actions regarding the process of counting the votes of candidates within political entities.

According to the announcement, the first authorization to begin investigative actions was issued on January 19 by the Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office in Peja, Lumturije Vuçetaj.


Meanwhile, further actions are being carried out with the authorizations of prosecutors appointed by the Chief Prosecutor's Office, in close coordination with the Kosovo Police Regional Investigations in Peja.

The process of interviewing commissioners has begun today, regarding suspicions of abuse during the process of counting votes of candidates of political entities. This process, according to the Prosecutor's Office, aims to fully clarify and shed light on all circumstances related to the case.

The Basic Prosecution Office in Peja announces that, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police, it will undertake all necessary legal and investigative actions to fully clarify the case and identify the responsible persons.

It has also been announced that the Basic Prosecution Office in Peja will keep the public informed of all further developments related to this investigative process. /Telegrafi/
