On the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kosovo, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has received numerous congratulations from leaders of friendly countries, confirming the continued international support and partnership for Kosovo.

The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, in his message congratulated President Osmani and the citizens of Kosovo, praising the friendly relations and consolidated partnership between the two countries.


He expressed confidence that cooperation will further deepen, contributing to regional stability and prosperity, and reaffirmed the Czech Republic's support for Kosovo's European and Euro-Atlantic integration.


Congratulations were also sent by the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Natasha Pirc Musar, who underlined Slovenia's support for Kosovo and its readiness to deepen cooperation within the Brdo-Brioni Process, describing this platform as an important mechanism for regional dialogue and coordination.


A congratulatory message was also sent by His Majesty, Carl XVI Gustaf, who expressed his most sincere congratulations on this important day for the people of Kosovo, wishing prosperity and well-being to the country's citizens.


Meanwhile, the King of the Netherlands, Willem-Alexander, has sent a congratulatory letter to President Osmani, congratulating the state and citizens of Kosovo on the anniversary of independence.



Also, the President of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, emphasized that relations and cooperation between the two countries will continue to strengthen in areas of common interest.

He reiterated Croatia's support for Kosovo's integration into international organizations, including the European Union and NATO, as well as for strengthening stability and security in Southeast Europe.
