Inter hit back at Bayern with a photo on social media after qualifying for the Champions League

Italian club Inter Milan hit back at Bayern Munich with a hilarious social media post after a difficult qualification to the Champions League semi-finals.

The Nerazzurri qualified for the Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday, securing a 4-3 aggregate victory over Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

After the match, Inter jokingly responded to a post shared on the X platform by Bayern Munich last week, before the start of the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Germans had suggested that they put maximum focus against the Nerazzurri, quickly moving from a small commitment in the Bundesliga to a bigger commitment in the Champions League.

The Nerazzurri responded with the same image, but with an opposite meaning, as the Bavarians failed to eliminate them from the two matches played.

Inter have qualified for the Champions League semi-finals for the second time in the last three seasons after reaching the final in 2023, but losing to Pep Guardiola's Manchester City. /Telegraph/
