Inflation in North Macedonia continues to remain below 4%.

The State Statistical Office estimates that in November living expenses were 4% higher compared to the same month last year, while the retail price index increased by 3%.


In just one month, from October to November, inflation increased by 0.5%. The food and non-alcoholic beverages group recorded the most significant increase.

In November of this year, prices increased by 5.4% compared to a year earlier.

Fruits have become more expensive by 18%, while meat, oils and edible fats have prices over 7% higher. The most drastic increase is observed in products that depend on world stock exchanges – coffee, tea and cocoa – which have increased by 27%.
