Industrial vote manipulation in several municipalities, Cakolli demands that the Prosecution launch investigations

Eugen Cakolli from KDI has reacted sharply regarding the suspicions of manipulation of candidates' votes during the counting process, demanding that the Prosecutor's Office immediately launch investigations and criminal prosecutions.
In a public reaction, Cakolli emphasizes that the manipulations evidenced in several polling stations and municipalities have reached industrial proportions and cannot be considered human errors or coincidences.
"Where is the Prosecution and what is it waiting for that is not initiating investigations and criminal prosecutions for the manipulation of candidates' votes - which in some polling stations and municipalities has reached industrial proportions," Cakolli wrote.
According to him, the names of the commissioners for each counting table at the Municipal Counting Centers are known, but the manipulations were not carried out solely by them.
"Dozens and hundreds of distorted votes in a single polling station, and thousands at the municipal level – mainly for certain candidates and in their municipalities – are neither a coincidence nor human error," Cakolli wrote.
He estimates that the involvement of certain candidates in these schemes is possible and that the investigations should also include them, in order to fully clarify the case.
Cakolli appeals for the justice bodies to act without delay, in order to protect the integrity of the electoral process and the trust of citizens.
"So, the investigation must inevitably include them as well," Cakolli wrote./Telegrafi/
