Gani Haziri, the owner of the bar where the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, was going to go today, has declared that he will close it because of PDK supporters.

In a statement to the media, Haziri said that he decided to close the bar to prevent the situation between the two party sympathizers from escalating, Klankosova.tv reports.

"Neither party has asked for the space to be vacated, but I saw that the situation was getting out of control, lest it become something bigger. I found out from my workers, they told me that Albin Kurti was coming. But I saw that the situation was escalating, and for that reason I closed the bar," he said.

Furthermore, he said that neither PDK nor VV supporters protested to leave his bar.

The bar where Kurti would go today is located in the "Tavnik" neighborhood of South Mitrovica.
