Continuous rainfall causes rivers to rise - risk of local flooding in some areas

The Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute has reported that continuous rainfall, especially after the day of February 14 and throughout the night, has caused the levels of several rivers to rise, including the Lepenci, Morava e Binçës and Nerodimes.
According to the latest data, the Lepenc River at the hydrometeorological observatory in Hani i Elezit has reached 2.93 m, the Morava e Binçës River in Viti is 1.33 m, while the Nerodimes River in Kaçanik has reached 0.82 m.
The institute warns that this situation could cause local flooding in surrounding areas.
The country's other rivers are currently flowing normally and pose no risk of flooding.
The amount of precipitation recorded was in Brezovica: 24.8 mm and Hani i Elezit: 36.8 mm.
The institute calls on citizens and local authorities to be cautious and follow further announcements on the hydrological situation. /Telegraph/
