The Ferizaj Regional Police has announced that during the period 13–19 October 2025, 108 fines were issued to drivers caught using a mobile phone while driving.
This action was carried out as part of a several-day campaign with the motto: "A second on the phone can be too late. Hands on the wheel, not on the phone," reports Telegrafi.
The police have appealed to all road users to focus on driving and avoid using their phones, as even a moment of carelessness can have serious consequences for people's lives.
The checks will continue in the coming days, with the aim of increasing traffic safety and preventing accidents.
