In honor of the two business professionals who lost their lives yesterday in Kosovo, the important summit is postponed

The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs in Albania, Elisa Spiropali, has reacted with emotion to the news of the passing of Elisabeta Katiaj and Eorda Sinollari after an accident in Kosovo.
She stated that both of them were women full of light and energy who dedicated their time and talent to Albania and the Albanian diaspora.
Due to this event, Spiropali has announced that in honor of Katiaj's figure and contribution, the 6th Women in the Diaspora Summit has been postponed to another time.
"Elisabeta, a true force in the business community, and Eorda, a young professional, who brought knowledge and new spirit through the GIZ Brain Gain Program. With Elisabeta, in a few days, we would have been together in Parma, at the 6th Women in the Diaspora Summit, but unfortunately her sudden and untimely departure did not leave us this opportunity. As a sign of honor and respect for the figure and contribution of Elisabeta, the 6th Women in the Diaspora Summit will be postponed to another time. In this moment of deep pain, I express my deepest condolences and I am close to the young children, family, friends and all those who knew and appreciated them.", she announced.
We recall that Katiaj was the head of the Albanian Diaspora Business Chamber.
Elisabeta Katiaj and Eorda Sinollari lost their lives after being hit by a truck in Prizren.
The cause of the accident was dense fog and the lack of necessary signage for the detour on the road.
