New York City names street "Isa Boletini" in Independence Day

The President of the Albanian American Association of Staten Island, Naser Nika, has informed the relatives of the family of Hero Isa Boletini and the entire Albanian community that the American Community in New York has approved the request of this association and several other organizations led by the Pan Albanian Federation "Vatra" to name a street in Staten Island after our National Hero, Isa Boletini.
According to Nicknames, who is known as an activist and dedicated patriot of the Albanian cause in the USA, among other things says: "Dear compatriots, with hearts full of pride we invite you to be part of an unforgettable event, the inauguration of 'Isa Boletini' street, dedicated to the great hero of our nation, which will be held on November 30th at the corner of Father Capodanno Blvd and Seaview Avenue, Staten Island, NY.
Isa Boletini, a brave Kosovo hero and symbol of sacrifice for freedom, becomes the first national hero from Kosovo to have a street named after him in Staten Island. This honor is made even greater because his street will stand next to that of Ismail Qemali, the leader of independence, which was named two years ago. Thus, two of the nation’s brightest figures will meet forever in the heart of New York, as an immortal testament to our national unity and pride.”
Isa Boletini's grandson, General Marketing Director Armend Murati, who has been living and working in Norway for years, thanked the Albanian American Association in Staten Island and its President Naser Nika, writing, among other things: "What else can we say except to express deep respect for the commitment of the Albanian American Association, Staten Island and in particular for the distinguished patriot and leader of the association Naser Nika, for the determination to achieve that the project of naming the street in Staten Island bears the name of Isa Boletini.
I know how much time, effort and funding were needed to achieve this, which Mr. Naser Nika did not spare a moment, just to achieve the goal. As the heirs of Isa Boletini, we congratulate you for the patriotism and patriotism you have shown, we will see you forever. Make us feel that the inspiration that Isa Boletini left is still alive and strong as ever.
At the same time, there is very interesting news for the grandchildren of Hero Isa Boletini, his two granddaughters, Ariana Hoxha and Arijeta Turku, under the banner of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo party, with senior leader Ramush Haradinaj, are running for assemblywoman respectively, Ariana in Gjakova, while Arijeta in Mitrovica. Their motto for their victory in this campaign is "Light for Municipalities". While one of the main reasons why they support the program and statute of this party is that the Leader and Chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has been an ardent supporter of the legendary figure Isa Boletini and his family. Every year on every anniversary, he commemorates the hero by visiting his grave and the Boletini Tower in Mitrovica. Even on the day he was released from the Special Court in The Hague, he did not forget, but directly placed a bouquet of flowers at Isa Boletini's grave. Hekuran Hoxha, also the grandson of Isa Boletini and the son of Ariana, is now completing his four-year term as an assemblyman in the Municipality of Gjakova for the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Party.
According to the slogan that Ariana Lila Hoxha and Arijeta Murati Turku present as their motto during this campaign "Light for Municipalities", it speaks of a better life for the people of Kosovo. "Let us be a good example for everyone - says Ariana - because success is achieved through work and not through promises like others".
In closing, we thank the Albanian American Association of Staten Island, its President Naser Nika, the City of New York, and all other organizations that made it possible to name the street “Isa Boletini” in honor of the historical leader “Ismail Qemali” in Staten Island, New York. We also wish success and victory to Ariana Hoxha, Arijeta Murati Turku, and Hekurani in achieving new successes in their careers. /Panorama/
