Around 80.000 companies are active in the country, while the number of those submitting invoices electronically has increased by 40 percent, the director of the Central Registry, Anita Stamnova, informed today.
As Stamnova pointed out, the business tendency to work with paper documents is decreasing.
"We have an increase in the number of open companies, despite closed companies. The interest in business for digitalized, electronic work is evident," the director emphasizes.
At the press conference, it was announced that the Customs Directorate and the Central Registry will be connected electronically, which will mean great relief for citizens who will not have to walk from counter to counter, but will receive the necessary documents electronically.
