Following Memli Krasniqi's resignation as PDK leader, Ramiz Lladrovci said that this expected step by the current leader will be welcomed by offering support to the incoming leader, Bedri Hamza.
Lladrovci, through a post on the social network Facebook, wrote that being the leader of the party that originated from the Political Directorate of the KLA is a great responsibility.
"I congratulate the PDK structures for the support they have given me in every situation, with full confidence that everything will be fine. Special thanks go to the citizens of the Drenas municipality, who believed in my pledge that there is no mother's son who will take me away from the PDK. My faith in the sincerity of the membership, as well as the leaders of the PDK, has been great. This expected step of the current chairman, Memli Krasniqi, I will greet, at the same time, by offering strong support to the incoming chairman, Bedri Hamza. Being the leader of the party that originated from the Political Directorate of the KLA, is a great responsibility, a responsibility to take the state to a higher level, honestly, with all the progressive forces of the country. The Democratic Party is freedom itself and the state of Kosovo", wrote Lladrovci.
He said: "Being the leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo means being a state-former and state-builder, inclusive and unifying, brave and just, far-sighted and visionary, a statesman and a leader in word and deed.
