Forward Fisnik Asllani says they must continue to focus match after match, while he is happy to have set a new record at the club.

Asllani found his way to the goal after a long spell, scoring in the win against Freiburg, as they aim to secure a place in the Champions League.

For the German club's official website, the Kosovo star says they deserved the victory over Freiburg, adding that they have gotten so used to their teammates that they are "following with their eyes closed."

"It's a deserved victory, even with this goal difference. We were a little unlucky in the first half, but we rewarded ourselves in the second. 'We' is paramount in our team. We have internalized our routines."

"Sometimes I pass the ball with my eyes closed, because I know exactly where someone is. When things are going well, of course many things are easier. But you have to work for it."

Asked about the goal, Asllani added that there was a little luck, but he is happy with the three points, as they aim to record another victory in the next match.

"I hit the ball with the back of my head and luckily it went just under the post. It's a big thing to break the club's records. It's a fantastic sign that hard work pays off and that we're winning so many games in a row at home. Now the next goal is to get the next three points in Cologne. We're going step by step," he underlined.

Meanwhile, Asllani is currently the 11th top scorer in the Bundesliga with seven goals and four assists.Telegrafi
